It is still one of the most loved models in the entire Jordan line. Tinker Hatfield, the legendary designer, created the design. It was inspired by the Japanese "rising Sun" motif. The shoe has distinct colorblocking. The large toe panel is the symbol of the sun. Meanwhile, the lines running across the upper are the sun's rays. The AJ 12's signature features include the pebbled basketball texture at the toe panels and two metal lace eyelets on the top. A heel tab that reads "Quality Inspired by the Greatest Player Ever" also appears. This kick is the same design as the adult version but with sizing and colors exclusive to young Air Jordan fans.
